Lauren Miceli, LCSWR

Lauren Miceli is the owner and a clinician at Lauren Miceli Counseling, PC. She is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Lauren received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Binghamton University and thereafter attended Hunter College for her graduate degree. Lauren is dedicated to providing unique and individualized services to a variety of people including those dealing with relationship issues, overall stress, self doubt, emotional struggles, self esteem and confidence, life transitions, and much more. Lauren is committed to helping individuals, couples, and families achieve their full potential and live happier, healthier and more productive lives. This will be done through a healthy, caring, and positive therapeutic environment. Lauren aims to increase self-awareness as well as mental, emotional and relational well-being.

Clare Keller, LMSW
Clinician

Clare Keller is a New York State Licensed Social Worker. Clare earned her Master’s degree from Adelphi University. Before attending Adelphi, Clare earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at St. John’s University. Clare has experience working with adolescents, young adults, middle aged adults, as well as elder adults. Clare offers a cognitive-behavioral modality of treatment. She provides a warm and supportive environment where her clients may learn coping skills, self-awareness, and release emotional distress to address their emotional needs.

Noa Bar, LMSW
Clinician

Noa is a New York State Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from New York University. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Hunter College and a Culinary Degree from The Natural Gourmet Institute. She has experience working with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship problems, adjustment issues, as well as body imagine and self-esteem issues. Noa utilizes a strengths-based collaborative approach that emphasizes harnessing one’s innate strengths in order to guide clients towards greater resilience, balance, and fulfillment in life. Additionally, she uses a culturally sensitive lens and a person-in-environment perspective to better understand each client and the role that their culture plays in the therapeutic setting. Noa uses an integrative approach which draws on a combination of modalities such as solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems. Noa’s therapeutic style is best described as a collaborative partnership; She offers guidance, support, and a safe space for exploration, while recognizing that ultimately you are the driver of your own healing process. Noa offers sessions both in English and in Hebrew.

Bridget Moore, LMSW

Bridget Moore is a New York State Licensed Social Worker. Bridget earned her Masters degree from Fordham University in the Advanced Standing Clinical Social Work program. Before attending Fordham University, she earned her Bachelors in Social Work at Molloy College. Bridget has experience working with a variety of age groups with co-occurring disorders and special needs. Bridget has vast experience in providing parent training sessions, individual counseling sessions, and facilitating socialization groups for children with developmental disabilities and severe mental health disorders. Bridget has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as IBCCES credential and experience. Bridget believes in creating a supportive and safe space for anyone of any age to openly express their emotions or past experiences. She follows a strengths-based and client-centered approach to collaboratively work with all individuals to help them live positive and healthy lives. Bridget is determined to assist her clients in developing positive coping strategies that will build a strong self-esteem to help them overcome life's difficult moments.

Emily Zlicha, LMSW

Emily earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Miami with a Minor in Family and Human Services in 2006. She went on to get her Master’s in Social Work from Simmons College In 2008. With over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing a wide range of challenges, Emily has expertise in working with clients seeking to address symptoms related to topics including: anxiety, depression, sexuality, mood disorders, trauma, eating disorders, chronic illness and non-traditional family dynamics. Emily uses a variety of treatment modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused treatment, Cognitive behavioral therapy and a Person Centered approach. She is committed to empowering her clients, assisting them in developing tools during each session to be productive and accomplish their desired goals. Emily focuses each session on meeting each clients individual needs while providing a safe space on their journey of healing and peace. She is also passionate about promoting positive thinking in order to help her clients live a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Paige Amoroso, LMSW

Paige Amoroso, a Licensed Master of Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of New York, obtained her Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree from Adelphi University. Prior, Paige earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree at Parson’s School of Design, specializing in strategic business and entrepreneurship. Due to her own life experiences during the pandemic, Paige felt herself gravitating towards a greater purpose in life and these experiences have paved the way for her to pursue her true passion: helping others. Paige believes in the inherent resilience of individuals and feels that everyone has the potential to lead a meaningful life. As such, Paige values the importance of the therapeutic relationship with each of her clients. She works with a diverse clientele, comprised of children, adolescents, adults, and families. She empowers each client to navigate a variety of topics across the lifespan, including but not limited to adjustment issues, grief, loss, trauma, and terminal illness. Utilizing a strength-based approach, Paige helps her clients identify individual needs and goals. Paige also guides an individual’s engagement in introspection, reflection, and self-awareness, to promote healing and resilience despite adversity. Paige has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of social work in her client’s lives, and this motivates her to continue doing this important work.

Skylar earned her Bachelors Degree in psychology from Stony Brook University and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree from Long Island University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As she continues her journey in the mental health field, she is determined to provide a warm and comforting environment where individuals can embark on their mental health journey with confidence, support and understanding. She is dedicated to creating a safe space that promotes healing, growth, and self-discovery. Skylar utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral therapy approach and is certified in Trauma-Focused CBT. She strives to cultivate a therapeutic environment that assists individuals in navigating their mental health journey, and facilitates the development of lasting coping skills for a brighter, fulfilling future.  In Skylar’s free time you can find her reading, doing yoga, and going for walks.

Saphia Shaffie, LMSW
Clinician

Saphia is a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker, Certified School Social Worker and Licensed Business Owner. She earned her Masters from Silberman School of Social Worker at Hunter College in New York City and a Bachelors from The State University of New York at Albany. Both degrees have allowed her to explore the world of psychology that has ultimately led her to being in the field of counseling/therapy.
Saphia has experience working with diverse populations which allows her to not only meet her clients where they are but to create a sense of safety and security for all. Saphia’s work is aimed at bringing peace and justice for her clients and her purpose in life is to help others find their purpose.
Saphia has expertise in addressing topics including but not limited to: self-concept and self-esteem, familial conflicts, anxiety, relationship dynamics, boundary setting, mindfulness, self-care and self love. Her work focuses on cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and emphasizes a strength based approach. Saphia takes pride in creating a space where her clients can change for the better and she believes that everyone deserves a space to be seen, heard and validated.

Caitlin Reynolds is a New York State Licensed Social Worker. Caitlin earned her Master’s degree from Stony Brook University in the Family, Youth and Transition to Adulthood specialization. Before attending Stony Brook, Caitlin earned her Bachelors in Sociology with a concentration in education at Furman University. Caitlin focuses on meeting client’s individual needs and capitalizing on their strengths. She is passionate in collaborating and assisting clients with finding their purpose and their best sense of self. By providing a safe space and supportive environment, Caitlin encourages her clients to explore inwardly and openly express their emotions, in order to have clients navigate life’s stressors and bring them a sense of peace, fulfillment, validation, value and overall happiness.

Serena has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Study from St. Joseph’s College and her Master’s Degree in Students with Disabilities (7-12), from Touro College. She is currently working on her second Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Serena currently works at a private school as a Special Education Teacher and a Homework Café Teacher/Mentor. She is looking forward to beginning her journey as an MFT. Serena has experience working with a diverse population of all ages, but has specialized in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Serena always strives to always provide a safe, non-judgmental, and secure space for her clients. Serena looks forward to taking the time to get to know her clients to identify their specific needs. In Serena’s free time you can find her cooking new recipes, cycling, reading, and listening to music.

Megan Baroncelli is a New York State Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master’s Degree at Stony Brook University. Before attending Stony Brook, Megan earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at St. Joseph’s College. Megan has over ten years of experience working with various populations including children, adolescents, and adults. Aside from therapy, Megan has extensive experience in care management as well as knowledge of community resources. Megan utilizes a client-centered approach in therapy to create a safe and supportive environment. Megan takes pride in active listening and providing a space individuals can be vulnerable, while still developing tools along the way. Megan is eager to build therapeutic relationships with all of her clients to help them grow and flourish.

Brianna has knowledge and expertise in anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-care, and life goals. Brianna has a passion for working with young adults and adolescents to help them establish themselves and create life goals for their future. Her work focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy also known as CBT as well as client-centered and strength-based approach. Brianna’s goal is to help explore, set, and reach achievable goals by focusing on strengths, increasing your self-awareness of feelings, thoughts and behaviors while providing unconditional support.

Christine Bentley in a NYS Mental Health Counselor and a NYS licensed School Counselor. Christine employs a holistic approach using a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mind-body approaches. She does this by supporting individuals in a whole-person, strength-based way, combining insight with action. She has a warm personality making clients feel at ease. Her approach is kind & compassionate, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can process and heal. Christine began her journey in counseling as a NYS Licensed School Counselor, working at numerous Long Island schools for 10 years. Today Christine works with people in all stages of life looking to heal and work with a growth mindset focusing on self-compassion, self-awareness, & overall wellness.

Kim earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Hofstra University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University. In addition to her academic endeavors, Kim is committed to teaching at a private school on Long Island. Her expertise lies in crafting personalized education plans that address both academic and socioemotional needs for students. As she enters the next phase of her career in Marriage and Family Therapy, Kim brings valuable experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Eager to broaden her scope and collaborate with individuals of all ages, Kim employs a cognitive-behavioral treatment approach. She focuses on creating a warm, nurturing, and supportive environment to help clients develop coping skills, self-awareness, and emotional resilience. Kim's passion for working together collaboratively and her support in assisting clients in discovering their purpose and achieving their best sense of self create a secure environment for exploring inward and expressing outwardly. Through this approach, Kim assists clients in navigating life's challenges, fostering a sense of happiness, validation, self love and compassion, while focusing on promoting a life of tranquility and healing. In Kim’s free time, you can find her listening to music, practicing yoga, and spending time with her loved ones.

As she continues her journey in the mental health field, she strives to empower individuals on their journey toward mental well-being by providing compassionate and professional counseling services. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. In Bri’s free time you can find her reading, journaling and hiking.
